During our 50th anniversary, we held a Hogwarts-style year-long patrol competition in which patrols competed for monthly prizes (sand toys) to use at the end-of-year beach campout sand castle building contest. It was a lot of fun and helps encourage participation. You are welcome to adapt to whatever your unit can use!
